Responsibilities:

• Architect and optimize our core network infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring seamless connectivity and unparalleled performance.

• Manage and maintain firewalls, routers, switches and VPN concentrators in both corporate and production environments.

• Implement high availability and redundancy - Leveraging technologies such as VRRP and clustering.

• Conduct regular capacity planning to ensure network infrastructure seamlessly scales to meet current and future business demands.

• Unify network routing strategies across all sites, employing BGP or OSPF to enhance network resilience.

• Collaborate with the team on developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of all network topologies.

• Provide additional support on VMWare, server, storage, backups and other infrastructure technologies on-site.

Requirements:

• Solid experience as a Network engineer, with expertise in routing, switching and firewall management (Namely Fortinet and Cisco).

• Hands-on experience with VMware, SAN storage, backup technologies and Windows/Linux servers.

• Strong grasp of network protocols (SNMP, BGP/MBGP, OSPF, STP/RSTP, VXVLAN etc) and knowledge in scripting languages like Python.

• Experience in building and maintaining monitoring tools such as Grafana, LibreNMS, Observium or Solarwinds.

• Experience in AWS, including building VPCs, TGW peering and attachments, security groups and site to site VPN tunnels.

• Excellent problem-solving, team communication, and collaboration skills.

• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP are highly valued but not mandatory.
