Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a 24/7 service desk team, ensuring seamless performance and round-the-clock coverage.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, overseeing BAU tasks such as daily releases, incident troubleshooting and process automation in collaboration with DevOps.
• Champion the adoption and implementation of SRE best practices and principles.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of critical systems and services.
• Take ownership of platform incident management, acting as the primary escalation point and coordinating updates across teams.
• Drive root cause analysis and post-mortem processes to prevent recurring issues.
• Implement and manage advanced monitoring tools (E.g Grafana, Datadog, New Relic) across on-premise and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to standardize workflows.
• Balance technical and managerial responsibilities to achieve team and organizational objectives.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Argo, and Nexus.
• Leverage containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker for scalable and efficient deployments.
• Collaborate effectively across global teams in Malta, London, and Romania.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in roles like SRE Manager, Service Delivery Manager, or DevOps Manager.
• Proven expertise in incident management, monitoring systems, and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Desirables:

• Previous experience in the iGaming industry.
• Familiarity with the unique demands of fast-paced, dynamic operational environments.
