Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Video Streaming Engineer to join our innovative team in Eeze. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and enhancing our video streaming systems to deliver exceptional live video experiences. This role requires expertise in video systems, real-time streaming technologies, and a passion for staying ahead of emerging trends. The Video Streaming Engineer will collaborate closely with game designers and technical teams to ensure seamless video integration, improved product quality, and superior performance across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain various video systems and equipment, including keying and graphics machines, encoders, cameras, and lighting setups.
• Set up, test, and conduct trials for vendor-provided products and services (CDN solutions, hardware, and software encoders), providing comprehensive recommendations based on results.
• Collaborate with game designers to offer video-related insights and strategies to enhance the quality of end products.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and research video industry publications to maintain a competitive edge, sharing findings with the studio team.
• Develop and implement best practices for streaming services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing streaming systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for supported applications, processes, and training materials, assisting internal employees and the studio technology team.
• Execute ad hoc duties as required to meet the dynamic needs and priorities of the company.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with video systems and streaming technologies, including encoders, cameras, keying machines, and graphics systems.
• Expertise in content delivery networks (CDN) and real-time video streaming protocols (e.g., RTMP, HLS, MPEG-DASH).
• Proficiency in video compression standards and tools (e.g., H.264, HEVC, FFmpeg).
• Strong knowledge of lighting techniques and video production best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize video performance.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for video workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical findings and recommendations clearly.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in online gambling or gaming industry.
• Understanding of interactive media and live streaming audience engagement strategies.
• Knowledge of video analytics and performance monitoring tools.
