QA Architect (Live Dealer)

We are seeking an experienced and visionary QA Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our comprehensive Quality Assurance strategy and framework. The successful candidate will be instrumental in defining our approach to software quality, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable products across all our development initiatives.

Role & Key Responsibilities:
As our QA Architect, you'll be part of our architecture vertical, and at the forefront of our quality initiatives, driving excellence across our product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic QA Leadership:
- Define, develop, and maintain the overall QA vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and product roadmaps.
- Establish and evolve quality standards, processes, and metrics across all product lines and development teams.
- Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and testing approaches to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute within the architecture vertical to ensure architecture design alignment.
Architecture & Design:
- Design and implement scalable, robust, and maintainable test automation frameworks for various application types (web, mobile, API, desktop, etc.).
- Define the architecture for performance, security, and reliability testing, ensuring systems can handle anticipated loads and threats.
- Develop strategies for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, integrating automated testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Oversee the design and implementation of test environments and data management strategies.
Process Improvement & Best Practices:
- Champion and implement best practices in software quality assurance, including test-driven development (TDD), behaviour-driven development (BDD), and shift-left testing.
- Drive process improvements within the QA function, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
- Establish robust defect management and reporting processes, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
Mentorship & Guidance:
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to QA engineers (embedded within distributed teams) and teams.
- Build a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.
- Collaborate closely with development, product management, and operations teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
Risk Management & Reporting:
- Identify and assess quality risks at various stages of the development process and propose mitigation strategies.
- Develop and present comprehensive quality metrics and reports to stakeholders, providing insights into product quality and team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3-4 years in a lead or architect role.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end QA strategies and automation frameworks, within live dealer industry highly preferrable.
- Deep expertise in various testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, performance, security, usability, etc.).
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, Postman, etc.).
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
- Experience of using AI in quality assurance highly preferrable.
